The Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority has chosen ActiveG MapEngine as its spatial integration for Maximo. MapEngine will deliver advanced spatial integration of ESRI ArcGIS maps for the Water Authority’s Maximo enterprise asset management (EAM) system, providing users with dynamic visualization and map-based creation of work orders, service requests, routes, and more. “We’re excited to deliver our advanced spatial solutions for the Maximo users at the Water Authority, ” said Don Anderson, managing partner at activeG.
“The activeG MapEngine will allow us to increase the efficiency in managing the maintenance of over 600,000 assets,” said Water Authority Chief Information Officer Chris Framel. “Our supervisors will be able to visually manage work crews from within Maximo using the activeG MapEngine as assets, work orders and assigned crews will be visible and easily identifiable. An additional cost saving benefit of activeG is the ability to create routes that will minimize windshield time and maximize wrench time for our crews from each of our five divisions. The activeG MapEngine is the final piece we needed to complete the implementation of a true enterprise asset management system.”
